What were your primary goals for this training, and what made you choose Reskill to help you achieve them?

Excel is a necessary skill for everyone in their daily work. Many people studied Excel functions years ago, but they don't use its full power to enhance their productivity. This is especially important for administrative workers, which is why we decided to refresh the admin team before they start working on their budgets for the new fiscal year. They work extensively with numbers and budgets, especially at the beginning and end of the fiscal year.

Before the training, what were your biggest challenges related to this topic? Was the training content clear, well-structured, and engaging?

Our challenges were identifying the right instructor and ensuring the content wouldn't overload our participants. We specifically requested to add an extra section on Pivot Tables, but we were concerned that participants might be overwhelmed, reducing their productivity.

However, Dr. Yeoh (Reskill’s instructor) facilitated the session so well that every member of our team was engaged, and it didn't feel like a 6-hour course. The content was also very well-structured.

What was your single most valuable or impactful takeaway from the session?

It’s difficult to choose just one takeaway from our Excel training. For us, it was most important that we provide comprehensive training to our employees to refresh their Excel skills.

How did the instructor's approach to teaching and facilitation contribute to your learning experience?

Reskill offered us a list of instructors, and it was important for us that we find a knowledgeable person who could facilitate the training with maximum efficiency and make the session engaging for the participants. Dr. Yeoh, the instructor, did a great job. He didn't just deliver the training; he made an effort to find an individual approach for every member of our team. The training was very engaging, and the exercises were an excellent way to get hands-on experience.

Would you recommend this training to other teams facing similar challenges? Why?

Yes, because it's a great way to raise both efficiency and team spirit. We had a small group of only 7 people, which was the ideal size for a successful training. Participants were able to collaborate and solve practical exercises, which made the session especially effective. It was easy to communicate with the Reskill team, as their team was very responsive.
